Puddle of Mudd frontman Wes Scantlin apparently has some songwriting to do.
Cleopatra Records filed a lawsuit against the rocker in Los Angeles on Tuesday, claiming he failed to give them the new songs he promised to deliver. Scantlin supposedly entered into an agreement with the label back in February. His management company got a $45,000 advance in exchange for ten new songs and four re-recordings of old Puddle of Mudd hits.
But the agreed-upon due date has come and gone, and Cleopatra says they still haven't received the music. They're now seeking at least $45,000 in damages for breach of contract and fraud.
